![]() My family member also had access to my laptop, where I was also logged into everything. My phone had not been locked prior to this, so I was signed into everything there. So here is my issue: I've had some trust issues with a family member. I have tried everything, and but because 2factor authentication has been turned on, I can't even use the Microsoft account recovery form. The methods for changing the password included my correct phone number (associated with the account) but the recovery email is an unknown Gmail account (first 2 letters and number of characters is the same as my first name) with a gmail recovery phone number that is not mine. 2factor authentication had been turned on when I tried the forgot my password option. However, a day or two later, I was signed out of my Microsoft email/account, and the new password no longer works. ![]() ![]() I changed the password to something I definitely know and remember. A few days ago I was sent a notification to my Outlook/Microsoft account email that my email had unusual sign-in activity at 2:45 AM from a city across the country from me. ![]() Ok, so I did the Windows 11 update on my PC. ![]()
